Information for the Summer 2010/11 Tournament
Please read ALL the information below before registering a team or emailing questions
That's 10 Rounds, plus grand final & friendly

Time: Monday and Wednesday 4:20pm to 7:40pm (see below for 2010/11 schedule). The final decision about which age groups will play at which times will depend on the registered teams, and will be made on or before the 25th October

Registration. 2010 Registration Fees are set per player, with a lower price for players registering in a team.

In addition Football NSW fees are payable for any players not registered for the 2010 winter season for Mosman FC or another FNSW club.

Team : A Team Registration can be for 6-10 players, and includes a T-Shirt order. Please note players 8, 9 & 10 may be moved to other teams and players 7 & 8 may be added to teams at the discretion of MFC to balance teams within the same age group. If the competition is full, teams will be confirmed based on date of registration payment. Team Registrations should also include one Player Form for each player, but only ONE payment for the whole team.

Individual : We will attempt to provide a team for you. Please complete an Individual Form and payment, but please note that it may not be possible to fit in all individual players. All decisions on placing individual players will be made based on date of registration payment.
Payments by Direct Bank Deposit can be made to Mosman Football Club, BSB 032 097 A/C 640392. Enter the TEAM name in the description, and please make ONE payment for the whole team.

Please do not post or email registrations later than Thursday 21st October - bring them to Georges Heights in person instead.
- Child Protection. All team officials (coaches, managers, team contacts etc) of any team with U18 players must complete a “Prohibited Employment Declaration” prior to the commencement of the competition, unless they already completed one for the 2010 Winter Season

Playing Rules. 30 minutes games, Futsal rules - eg no throw-ins, goal kicks, slide tackles. Goal throw-ins should not cross the half-way line. Teams losing by 5 goals can add an extra player. Detailed playing rules are posted below.
- Training. No scheduled training, but teams with byes / forfeits will be given a training session instead of a match
- Age Group Information. Use this information to determine which age group you should enter. Please note, age groups may be combined to provide the best possible competition in 6 or 8 team divisions at the discretion of MFC. U6, U7 and U8 divisions are non-competitive, so no competition tables will be kept - this is an FFA rule to ensure younger childrens football is about fun & development rather than winning at all costs. A "W" team for U18 teams consists of at least 4 female players, 3 of whom must be playing at all times.

Match day Information
Footwear
All players must bring turf football boots or sneakers to every game. No boots with metal studs permitted under any circumstances. Boots with plastic blades may be worn if:

Turf football boots are best for dry, hard conditions and will generally cope with wet weather in summer too.
Grounds Rules: Please note the Harbour Trust rules that apply to Georges Heights:
"Intoxicating liquor shall not be taken onto any public reserve and consumed thereon"
"No smoking of any form on or around all Council playing fields""
"Dogs are not allowed on the oval (but can be walked on the footpaths on a lead)"
Referees
Referees will be provided. As a backup U6/7 and U8/9 teams should nominate a designated referee, and each team may be asked to referee one half each. Interested in refereeing? Click here to send an email.

- All players must arrive 20 minutes before the game is due to begin
- All games on at 4.20pm must arrive at 4pm and may be asked to help set up
- All managers must sign the team sheets
- Last game must help pack up
Wet Weather Line
Should you be in any doubt as to whether the oval will be open please contact Mosman Council on the following number before going to the ground: 9978 4136. If the ground is open, the games will be played as scheduled even if it is raining, and teams who do not show up will forfeit the game. If the ground is closed the games will be off and we will email your team managers regarding possible re-scheduling dates.
